Banged up Harrah's Pretty Good...
Decided to make a visit to Harrah's AC on Sunday and while Sunday night was absolutely horrible, I decided to hang around on Monday. This was their last "Monday Madness" where you swipe your card at the Total Rewards Kiosk and it entered you in their daily drawing. Every 15 minutes from noon to 6pm they would draw 5 names and give away 1,000.00 in free play to each winner. So I started my day with a very small bankroll (for me at least), and by the 2nd 15 minute drawing I heard my name called. I tell this story because I NEVER win these things. I've tried the drawings, the cards they gave during handpays, just about all of it and always walking away a big loser. Can you believe I got my name called a total of 3 times on Monday. That turned out to be 3k in free play. This seeded me pretty good. I think I had 1 handpay on Sunday night and the rest on Monday. Now truth be known, I did manage to get myself into a train wreck late in the day on Monday and gave back way more than I wanted to. As you can imagine, at the denomination that I play, these kinds of hits are basically seed money. It's those bigger hits that really get me excited. I'm seriousely thinking about writing a cathartic tell all about my failings as a gambler. My biggest problem is stopping and not giving it all back. Fatigue, greed, adreneline whatever it is it sometimes prevents one from making good decisions. So keep posted for my article, I'll get to it eventually. I had a really great time, it was nice to see all those hand pays. As usual I was all over the casino but most of my good fortune came on a single machine in a single session. The attendant (whom I did not know) was pretty amazed that he kept coming back. Sometimes only minutes later. Anyway, Enjoy the pics.
DaBurgler, I have not forgotten about your email, we will meet in AC when I have some free time and we can set something up. I will get in touch.

Great hits roveer! I would have been so tempted to go after that 4th 3 in the 9th picture but that dealt full house sure does look good with an 8X multiplier.

Roveer,Good that you won drawings so you could play, and good to see that you have some good Hits on this page. I play much smaller amount but sometimes I just like to play and I don't stop, at my level it can be costly= small headachea, at your level$$$ can see were give lot more side effects, big headachea. I do understand, Good luck on playing or not playing. Sam

So lets review. My muscle memory tells me to keep the FH. Only break it up if it was ACES . I think I was so dissapointed by leaving 3oak lows blank all day that I just went with the book. Your right, would have been nice. I've been known to gamble before, but had it missed it would have been a 1k penalty. Roveer
