Good hit, congratulations! How far did you have to dig into your previous $10K jackpot to hit this one? It goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway, oops) that a recreational vp player is at his most vulnerable in the immediate aftermath of hitting a nice jackpot. Your case is an example: You said you were quitting vp upon winning the $10K, yet here you, back at the casino, parked in front of a dicey TDB machine. The win is nice, please don't misunderstand, but to the casino you are now a fish reeled in. Honestly (honestly to yourself) accurately add up the costs of winning the $10K and $20K jackpots and then look at your remaining net profit and ask yourself if it's time to take the money and run. Or, perhaps take the money and go back to fishing for bass instead of marlin.

No need to apologize. We are all in the same boat so to speak.. just different denoms.   One slight clarification though... I said on a previous post that this hand was my chase.   This was / is the golden ring for me.   The 10k hit was DDB and I dreamed about TDB as the "ultimate".

Now to answer your question... how far did I dig.... well.   I have about 60k in hand pays from my epic run.    I have about 40k at the end of this battle / war....   I will need to pay taxes, etc...   so it will be lessened... but I am fulfilled.   Satisfied.   I do not have to urge to chase anything.   Loses or any particular hands.

Will I retire ?     I think we all know that is difficult.   But I will strongly consider and attempt.   Gonna buy a bike and find a new hobby.    If I do find the urge to play... maybe .25 denom for fun.     I do not like the wild swings at $5. Denom...   it is exciting yes, but I can see how 5k-10k could be lost in a single session.    I was willing to risk my recent winnings to chase my goal...   now that I hit my goal... I really do not want to expeience losing it. That would be beyond brutal.

In any case
.. GOOD LUCK TO ALL[/QUOTE]
Congrats, but you are playing a 9/7 TDB (99.78%) game. I wish that I could find those. I think, instead of quiting, you should jump to $10 denom...

I just checked Horseshoe in Hammond, IN and they have 9/7 TDB is $5 and higher.
