The only way you can win is get lucky and then stop gambling. That seems to be the gist of the article.
Catching a flight in a few hours to spend a couple of days in NOLA. Wish me luck. I am hoping to push the buttons at least a couple of times at the precise nano second so I can get a couple of good hits to make the trip a profitable one.

Agreed, especially since the games studied included roulette and slots, no surprises. I'd also expect that the small percentage of players who were ahead at the end of the period would not be ahead at the end of the next period if they continued playing those games. As for blackjack, I'd expect anyone who got too successful at that online would be backed off just as they are in a B&M casino.
Poker, video or table, is about the only game that offers the player a chance to get and stay ahead.
