Favorite Hand/result
recently. I believe it was tedlark who made a statement along the lines of he prefered getting Quad Aces to any other hand, even royals, but that he would of course always accept royals whenever given the chance! This got me to thinking about what is each person's own personal favorite hand/result in Video Poker.....?I mean, we all love (and need) royals because that is the hand that allows us the chance to actually come out AHEAD in the game of Video Poker. So I first off state that, in selecting a personal favorite hand, no one can choose ROYALS......By favorite hand, I simply mean, which final hand result gives you the most joy or pleasure simply by looking at it, or perhaps it is your favorite because it has special meaning to you (like its your zip code or your lucky numbers or some shiiite, lol! Some hands just look prettty, like quad aces, or four queens. If you must insist on choosing a Royal as your favorite, at least make it sometjing like a Sequential Royal in Diamonds!!!My Favorite hand of all time is a tie, between quad 8s and Quad 10s.......when I attain these results during a video poker session, I pause playing and I stare at them on the screen because I love how they look .Quad 8s to me looks like a platoon of Snowmen on the march! Quad 10s just looks real cool, like perfection, which "10" represents. Also, I was 11 years old in 1979 when Bo Derek appeared in the movie "10" and sent every male member of the human race on planet earth into a tizzy!!!

I dunno about my favorite hand, but my least favorite is 75432 dealt. Makes me wish I was playing triple draw lowball again. I definitely feel like it shows up a lot more than it should (1 in 2548). :(

My first dealt royal in hearts triple play at Palms was my most memorable hand despite DaBurglar's rules for this topic! The screen lit up w red hearts! OMG, my first instant thought was what did I do wrong and how much will they charge me to replace/fix this machine! I had lost $75 there earlier that day and really did not want to return. Hubby wanted to go back for a free buffet. We wisely took a cab back to our hotel at night instead of walking across Flamingo Blvd. and hopping on the Gold Coast shuttle bus.

Dealt quad Aces/kckr, playing TDB five-way Wheel Poker. I have been lucky to get that once. Mirage in Vegas is the only casino that I frequent that still offers Wheel Poker.

With Quick Quads one of my favorite games, I really enjoy getting a dealt Quick Quad 4 of a Kind. The checkered flag on the two cards that add up to the total of each of the other three cards and the voice announcing "Quick Quads" is always sweet. Then, when you hold the five cards, there's a sweet crystal chime-like sound as the other 9 hands are filled in with QQ 4OAK's. I would rather get dealt a Quick-Quad 4OAK than a natural 4OAK (except, of course, for a low 4OAK or Quad Aces, where you might connect on kickers), where there's no bells or whistles.

Best voice in poker, that's for sure. I really need to get back to Ellis Island so I could play that again for full-pay. I got a couple of Quick Quads dealt yesterday while playing standard VP...and of course, I also got this in an 800 hand session yesterday. I missed.

I mean, I wish you had hit it and won of course, but whats the big deaL? Second, I never seen a 8/5 JOB offering 175 credits for four of a kind.....what is this game actually called (something different than just plain old JOB???)

I have played both the multi-line version (3, 5 or 10) of QuackQuids at the Taj in AC, and I also play the SINGLE line version of QQ at Caesars AC on the five star machines. I very much prefer the single line version of QQ and found the multiline version to be both extremely expensive and it deals a lot of crap duds, but that is AC;s problem......I;d love to try a 3 or 5 line QckQd machine in Vegas. Harrahs AC has a 100 line quackquad machine which I only tried once playing 1 line at max coin and thus annoying everyone around me lol HAS ANY PERSON SEEN ANY QUICK QUAD GAME/MACHINE just existing by itself as a single line video Poker game, and not multiline or part of a 5 star machine??? Edited to add: The four 5 star machines at Caesars AC in front of the Horse Racing parlor, the third one over from left to right (or the second one over moving right to left lol) is REALLY REALLY.....REALLY loud! I mean, I have to turn both my hearing aids DOWN if I play this machine. ANYHOO, if and when I play Quik Quads on this machine, I have literally JUMPED in startled fright when the voice yells QUICK QUADS!!!! it happened so fast and was so loud its almost deadly! And I am sorry to say I did laugh at the misfortune of another lady playing the machine after me, I was two seats down and kinda watching her out of the corner of my eye because she was kinda drunk and kept trying to put her vodka cranberry on my wheelchair as a type of TV tray! When she hit a quickqwad it so startled her the boozey concoction went flying al over the machine to her right! She was shaking a laughing for about 60 seconds after as she composed herself and tried to understand just what the hell happened
