Do you think a snow cover helps?
I consider myself very lucky. My parking spot in my condo parking lot was very vulverable to drifts this past storm. I'm SO HAPPY my car started manually, and I'm wondering if it was because of the drift that accompanied it? The thermomoter reached -14 last night, and unless I just jinxed myself tonight, my nephew shoveled me out and my car started manually....I am VERY GRATEFUL and wonder if the snow drift helped.. I'd love to hear from the mech's....woulddya thilnk?

The snow probably did protect your car from the extreme cold weather. Probably a natural igloo.

I hope your car starts better now that it warmed up a bit and you don't have to start it manually anymore. I mean that turning the crank in cold weather sure gets old.
