Hard Rock in Tampa
Anyone out there have any experience with Hard Rock in Tampa FL??
Have never been there and as a long time Laughlin and Vegas player am somewhat concerned about what I call out of town casinos.
Would appreciate any info you may have for me.
Thanks,
DW

I live about 1 hour away and have been there many times, none profitable though. They have 9/6 double bonus but I think there class II machines because they run off a bingo card so be careful.

Good offers once you join the club but I have had poor luck there... Beware of parking on the weekend if you go - not enough spaces for the traffic...

Last I heard VP was all Class II as mentioned above. This means that the VP machines are no different than slots with predetermined paybacks ... which are probably less than 95%.

I live 30 minutes from Tampa. I go to the casino about once a month. The best thing about it is the comps. If you are a pretty loyal player they comp you well with free buffets, which by the way we think is pretty awesome, well worth the trip. We also get free play money, free rooms most of the year, property credits and extra entries into their drawing for free prizes like cars and such. I have only hit a couple of big jackpots, one was 1,800 on a $1 slot and $800 on a $1 slot. I have seen lots of big payouts though, upwards of 10,000, but I can tell you from expierence they a few a far between. It is a nice place to go to if you have the extra money to spend for fun... But IT IS NOTHING LIKE VEGAS!!

I live here and there's NO GOOD reason to go there at all!
The machines are "bingo card machines" as mentioned. The poker room is POORLY run/managed and has some of the most grumpy golden-agers EVER!
