Las Vegas casinos win as favorites lose Super Bowl
Although the Denver Broncos were a favorite to win Super Bowl XLVIII, the Seattle Seahawks crushed them by 35 points. However, Las Vegas casinos benefited from the upset, as 68% of bets were on the Denver Broncos. A bet for Seattle winning by 34 to 38 points paid out 100 to 1.
