Sequential Royals

Post by theacequeen »

So, has anyone here ever had a progressive sequential royal? The Sequential progressive at our local casino goes every few weeks, usually around $20,000 - 22,000, so I know its possible -- just not for me....YET!!

Nope. But it would help if I played the game which I don't. ....I have never seen one either, but did see a 2.3m hit on a progressive penny machine a year or 2 ago. Happened just as I was walking by the machine.

The Showboat AC (R.I.P.)  had 16 DDB sequential Royal progressive machines, which were at over 30K when the lights went out last week.    I hit a royal on them once but it was not even close to sequential....K10AQJ or something like that.I have known 3 people in my entire life that have hit a sequential royal for a larger than normal payout, and all three hit it on the deal.....go figure.

I wonder what happens to that progressive jackpot? Most Gaming Commission regulations require that at least one machine must remain until the progressive is paid (MGM Lion's Share in Vegas, for instance). With the Showboat closed, I wonder if CET has to move at least one machine with that progressive to one of their other properties in AC ?

[/QUOTE]Good question, I never thought about that.....the thing is, ALL the other CET properties in AC are on Server based VP, and showboat was still on the individual stand alone chip-based machines. But given the total mess things are in AC and with the gaming enforcement, I doubt anyone is seriously looking into such things or even cares.   Together you and I on this forum have probably expended more energy on these few posts than the entire city of AC thinking about this......

I had a sequential royal last year while playing DDB at the Rio. That was my first and probably my last. I didn't win anything other than the normal payout, but when they came to pay me, they said "you are playing in the wrong casino, this would have been worth at lot more at Stations". So after they paid me, I went to play at Stations. But, I didn't win a sequential royal there, just a progressive royal that had just paid out. Needless to say, I was still very happy.

I've actually had two sequential royals, neither on a progressive that paid the big bucks. I'm still hoping!
