Virtual Birthday Cake from theacequeen

Post by theacequeen »

Hi and welcome to my birthday party! I invited everyone to come from my comment on the Contests page. I can't believe I made it to the top 10 (so far) in the monthly contest! I wasn't even going to play this month. I'm heading off to Reno for some real VP this month, so I didn't even want to bother with the contests. But, like a moth to a flame (or a VP player to VP) I joined in and was astounded to make it into the top 10. I wasn't planning to lug my computer along on my trip, so my elation was mixed with a little groaning.....but I'm up to the challenge!! That's how I got to be this old!! So please enjoy a little cake with me this AM. The beauty of virtual cake is that it can be any flavor you prefer and NO CALORIES!! theacequeen

Since this room is VP Stories, here's a recent VP story of mine. About three weeks ago we went down to Harrah's Joliet for an overnight. We had a decent amount of cashback and a lot of free food coming to us which was the only reason we went because we didn't want to chance losing any money before our Reno trip. My plain-jane DW was very hot, and I was sure I was going to get the deuces when, suddenly, I was dealt a Royal (diamonds - no wild). My luck continued throughout the evening and we were able to go to bed with quite a bit of winnings, despite the fact that my husband keep tapping me for more money. Next AM we went down, and I grabbed the same machine. This time I started with Double Bonus. Within 5 minutes, I was dealt KAJ6 Hearts and a 10 spades. I kept the three to the royal and drew the Q10 hearts!! I'm ready for Reno!! theacequeen

Thanks for the chocolate cake! It was yummy in spite of the fact that it's only a little before 8 a.m. in California. Have a winning time in Reno. And Happy Birthday.

Happpy Birthday, AQ!  I had a taste for cake this morning so I was happy to see yours come out of nowhere.  The no calorie perk was extra special.  Thanks again and have a wonderful trip!
