Sept 2014 Biloxi Trip
Just returned from Biloxi. Nice trip, good food, and some nice weather for golf. Played Fallen Oak for the first time since the remodeling over the summer. It was excellent.
The visit got off to a good start. They had a New Orleans Pelicans Event ( the NBA franchise in NO) at The Beau, so I got to mingle a little with the players, and of course, the cheerleaders.
I even FINALLY received my trophy from the 2014 Champion's Tour Pro-Am from back in March, where I teamed with Scott Dunlap to take First Place.
On the gaming side, I had a very positive trip. With the exception of two sessions, all my table play sessions were winners. I played a little slots, and had one nice win. Video Poker was erratic, as usual, but I did have a couple of good payouts. Here are the pics.
My next planned trip, assuming no health issues get in my way, is a cruise during the first week in October. It's a Caesars 7Star event, cruising from NYC up to Boston and the Canadian Maritimes. Gonna spent the returning day in Atlantic City then, and perhaps meet a VP.Com site peep or two while there.

Nice trip Billy and good hits too. As usual, a couple of lovely Southern Belles to go with your picture. These two particularly stirred my fancy, since I have been married to a brunette beauty myself for some 42 years. How she ever put up with me that long is a mystery I would rather not solve hee hee....Anyway, as usual nice to hear from you and the trips. I am going up to Mohegan for a quick trip tomorrow evening. I just found out they have Maker's Mark up there. I haven't asked which variety yet. I'll be sure to have one though. If you have a moment, drop a line here and tell me which one to order if there is a choice. I doubt if I will have a lovely brunette with me though as the Mrs. has a work day.

Nice trip report Billyjoe. You are such a hound when it comes to finding all those beautiful women. And you are a pretty good hound as well as finding the right slot and video poker machines to play on. I know you don't need the money but the thrill of those big wins keeps you coming back for more.

Yeah - they were cute. A lot of fun to chat with, too.
As far as Makers Mark, there is a Makers Mark 46, but I am no snob, so the traditional Makers Mark Bourbon, neat (no ice), is my choice.
Sip it slow, and enjoy.

Sounds good BJ. I'll be on my way shortly. I hate to ruin the Maker's Mark with a beer chaser, but I might after I enjoy it part way through.

how many makers marks do you typically "enjoy" on any given day? should I get a sidecar for my chair in case you need a ride back to your room?

Back again. Mohegan trip was uneventful. Got even twice and couldn't stay to the plus side this time. Played too long and way beyond last call so I didn't get my Maker's Mark this trip. Didn't want to get blotto and mess up some holds. On the plus side, they gave me a Sky Suite, but it was a smoking one. . Billy like posted below I hope you are doing OK and enjoy every day which as you know is a gift. Since I messed up on the Maker's Mark, I will have to have 2 next trip. The one hit that got me even was a really good one. 5 3's on Double Down Stud Deuces Wild with 20 quarters in and good for a grand. That was the signal to stop and have my Bourban and shot. . My cutie pie waitress brought me a chocolate milkshake instead and pointed to my watch which was ten minutes past last call.
