coming to florida

We are blazing into Florida the day after Thanksgiving. Been to Orlando many times, but this time going farther south. Staying for a week in Pompano Beach and intend to see all the doings going south. Are there places we should not miss? Restaurants that are absolute winners in any part of south Florida and of course, any casinos (other than floating barfboats!)? If anyone is going to San Diego, give me a holler. That was my stomping grounds. Thanks
