2014 November Biloxi Visit

Post by BillyJoe »

Just returned from a short Biloxi trip to play in a casino Poker and Golf event. The weather was kinda nasty, so the golf was poor and uneventful. I did, however, finish 6th overall in the Texas Hold 'Em poker part of the event, good for $3k in FreePlay.

I did not spend a lot of time in the casino, between the golf and poker, but I did manage to score this little VP beauty at the Beau Rivage..

Off to Vegas, health permitting, after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Ditto BJ. Happy Thanksgiving and a toast for good health too. That " little hit " would have taken care of my losses for the last two months.
. Stay well and may the Tattooless lasses be with you.

We're headed there as well. We fly tomorrow.

We have two nights at Main Street Station, followed by three nights at M, and then back to Main Street Station for four more, before flying home.

Well, if my math is correct (always questionable), I will be there when you get back to Main Street Station. I am at Caesars starting the night of 12/3, so if you want to meet up, and you can tolerate "The Strip", let me know.

I can tolerate parts of the strip for short periods of time, and meeting up is a very attractive suggestion.

But, we chose to not rent a car this trip, so transportation would be an issue.

So, regrettably, I'll have to decline - unless you want to make a trip downtown.

Good stuff BJ and what a draw! Not even subpar paytables does not stop you from winning!

You could WAX (Westcliff Airport Express) it from Casino Center to LV Blvd/Tropicana for $2 cash each way. We took it from McCarran to the Strip once. Worked pretty well. But that bus doesn't run super frequently though. And there is always the "Deuce" but that's $8/person for a 24 hour pass.

That is all I see is less than positive VP paytables, so it's either that or don't play. That is primarily why I play High Variance games like TDB, because there is no way to grind out winning with poor paytables on games like JoB. I need those good hits to be successful, though.
