Practicing online is useful --- ONLY IF you get corrections when you make a mistake --- and ONLY IF the pay schedule you are practicing is the same as what you find in the casinos. In SDB, for example, how you play a hand like KK884 depends on how much you're getting for the full house. If you practice where you get 45 and play where you get 35 or 40, you'll be making the wrong move.If you don't get corrections when you play, playing online just causes you to learn to make your mistakes faster.
