A good incentive at Mohegan Sun

Post by olds442jetaway »

For those who do play at Mohegan Sun, I just found out about a good incentive to play Sun. Feb 8th. With my luck, it will snow that day. Anyway, they are offering tripple status points and double momentum dollars. Since I am running behind so far this year in status points and probably won't hit level 3 this time, this might be a good chance to play catch up if one is fairly close to the 1400 number. To hit level 3 which does offer quite a few benefits, you have to make 1400 status points by the end of March. Just thought I would drop this note for anyone playing in the Ct area around that time.

Though I am no where near that area, I recall from a few websites that momentum points are only given on the lesser paytables (not JoB/Airport Deuces), has this changed?

Either way getting triple status tier points is a great opportunity.

Correct. No momentum dollars paid on the best paytables usually the 99% plus ones, but it does include airport deuces as well. If we are not snowed in that day, I actually have a shot of hitting level 3 this cycle, but to do that, I have to keep going at least 2 to 3 times a week also until the end of March. With my current strictly single coin play, this will be difficult. If I don't make it all that probably means is that I will have more money left in my pocket.

Either way getting triple status tier points is a great opportunity. We have triple points here in Michigan but only 1/3 goes to tier. So every 3000 points only 1000 will go to tier status.

Virtually most casinos have it in the fine print that tier points do not multiply on point multiplier days, so it is rare to have tier increases. Thus if olds has an opportunity to increase tier threefolds, I saw that it is more value wise to get the benefits that go along with it over the span of the casino year.

My local casino sets high requirements for the different tiers, but occasionally have point multipliers for the low rollers to have an opportunity to move up. However, the point multipliers only apply to reel slots, but not video keno or poker.

CET offers a good tier point bonus to those who play longer than usual sessions or high roll.
