Where have the quad aces w/k gone?
I have noticed that since this fall Oct/Nov I haven't hit quad aces with a kicker AT ALL... I'm not talking about DEALT, just getting it to finish up. My areas of play include my VP.COM ipad app, my all star VP machine at home and my casino play.
I can't remember a single A w/k win in months... I've had aces wo/k at what I consider a normal rate but NONE w/k.
Now remember I generally play 10 handed and I've had lots of 3A's with none finishing up with a kicker.
Truth be told, I did finally hit one this week on 5c 10 handed frenzy machine and I also hit a 2 card royal playing frenzy as well. Both shockers. I ran out of the casino with 500 bucks with a 40 dollar investment. I'll call that a win even if it's not my normal denomination. Truth be told I'm up 200 this year with 2 visits. I'm playing mostly FP and putting very little extra on top. Partially because of what I'm writing about in this post. If I don't get A w/k's It's like playing with a huge handicap especially in my games.
I'm assuming that since this is happening in the casinos, on my ipad app and on my home machine that it's not manipulation but rather random number seeding. I guess if we knew more about how these RNG's are seeded some real crypto egghead could give is a "strong vs weak" report for generating certain types of hands. This would amount to "counting cards" for VP.
I have posted in the past that I believe this could be done similar to how the original WEP wireless security was broken by finding weak keys in the crypto. Now that would be fun.

This is a good example of how past results could easily skew perception. Here you have completely separate applications with completely different RNG's built by completely different developers. There is no reason for you to have this drought technically, so it is purely through chance. Had you only been talking about casino play, or play within a specific casino, it would be tempting for many people to draw conclusions about fairness. However, given the different environments you are talking about, I would conclude that you're in a bad patch on the bell curve of random events (and that things should pick up, eventually).Or the most suspicious types could conclude a far deeper conspiracy linking manufactured "cold streaks" in the casino to cold streaks within the ipad app... for reasons I can't even begin to imagine. But that always seems to be of secondary importance to a good conspiracy theory.

No, no... It's the "big dial" in the back room that says "let's take their money". I just didn't know that it extended to my ipad and my machine at home. That technology must have come from aliens...
Hey, I was goggling around and I found myself on the bell curve... Better get busy climbing

Your response does evoke some thought. Are you saying that the iPad app is not some sort of port from the original code of the actual casino game? It's a ground up build separate from the machines in the casino? For that matter, how about the games here on VP.COM Are they separate from the actual casino game machines as well or is the code shared?

The games are rebuilt to imitate the casino games according to the same specs... by aliens that aren't even from the same solar systems.

Roveer I have hit several AWAK since last fall while playing in Tunica, St. Louis, and Joliet. In Joliet I hit them on 3 different trips and once was when Billyjoe was in town. He was playing the machine next to me and I couldn'thit a thing. After he went up to his room I hit them 10 minutes later. Only thing I can offer is that they are out there and you just gotta get them. Good luck.

I seem to hit them about every other session, but only on job. . The Mrs. on the other hand hits them almost every session for the last few months if she sticks to very low denomination machines. I mean really low like 2 cent machines or at the highest nickels. Both of course have awful paytables. I could be slightly incorrect here, since a couple of the hits I think were without kickers, but sometimes she hit the aces twice in the same session. Whenever either of us try it on quarters or higher, forget it. This leads me to believe more and more every day that the programs are being adjusted to hit the correct number and types of hands, but not equally at all bet levels. If that is really being done, I hope they get caught at it someday. I doubt that will happen though. As long as vp machine patron returns are lumped in with slots which they are and the total return percentages to the patrons are over the legal minimum which they are, I don't think there will be much looking into stuff like this at all. Slot/vp returns in Ct. are always in that 91 percent range which is well above the allowable minimum.
