Fantastic hit Mike, congrats to you. You found one of the benefits that Lawrenceburg has over Horseshoe Cincy; TDB and not DDB and $11,000.00 and not $4,400.00. Not that a $4,400.00 hand pay isn't anything to sneeze at...

Horseshoe Cincy being non-smoking ranks it high for me; I don't like walking out of Lawrenceburg and having to fumigate my clothes. I have an expensive leather jacket that I can't wear to Four Winds because of the smoke there.

Horseshoe Hammond is like walking around in a fog and the cigarette smoke stench hits you as soon as you enter the place.

I may take a ride down to the Cincy/Lawrenceburg area in a couple weeks.

Edited to add: Yes,I too get more freeplay from "the shoe" than from Hollywood Lawrenceburg but it still isn't enough to just get me in the car to drive over from Chicago.

I agree Hammond is pretty bad for smoke, but from the way it looks, I wouldn't initially guess that. The main VP section at Hollywood STL was pretty rough too last week since it was full when we went.

I wish Hammond and Joliet could switch physical locations.

Rumor had it that Horseshoe Hammond was going to build a hotel; I wonder if those plans are still on track? The closest ""nice" hotel is the one they built over on Cline Ave at the property they sold to Ameristar.

Doug you're right about Horseshoe Hammond's appearance; it's very opulent.
