Tropicana AC
I ventured down to the Tropicana yesterday after a nice Caesars day. I lost $37 on dollar full pay VP min spins. My 9/6 JOB was beyond ice cold; frigid. Frat boys barged in. They surrounded machine next to me, hit $500 on slots. That finally got me up to the bathroom. I returned to another machine, which I was shocked to discover was also 9/6. Fast quad; happily escaped with $14 loss. Phil's advice about $20 max input is so perfect. I always get burned when I defy it. I just sank into this losing rut stupor and it took a ruckus to unseat me.

It is time to get out of the rut. I have found it as well but I decided to play here on site for a time instead of at the casino. Just had too many loses lately.

Only consolation is that I know which of the full pays to play next time. The tight machine was also poor on a previous occasion. Now I know that was not a fluke occurrence. VP is a game of inches. Choose a machine three inches to your left or right for an entirely different narrative. I play on my phone and have not seen a JOB RF in 45,000 hands. But it's all free so no worries when I get slammed. They keep replenishing my bankroll when I invariably go bankrupt.

I finally gave up on 99.54% job last year after going nearly 700k hands without a Royal. Quads were going in wacky spurts of none for 6 or 7 hours or 2 five minutes apart. This was also mostly on single line games. As I have posted before, the result was a whopping 50k loss for the year. I will never make that up, but they will never get me again like that either. This year on 98.91 Deuces wild and only 97.8 or so Double Down Stud on the Deuces wild game I am doing much better. Not ahead due to stupid play when I do get ahead, but nothing like last year. The deuces quads seem to be hitting right on schedule as they should for the most part. I am combining Phil's method with my Martingale clone with good results. Also as I have posted before long term results where the math catches up with everything can be longer than one's lifetime since we are dealing with infinity. Not many of the math experts talk about that and usually, they will say that roughly by the end of the year with hundreds of thousands of hands played, things should come around. In my case, over a million hands were played last year and things didn't even begin to come around. Just a little food for thought and another reason Phil's method or something similar is so good to limit your losses in any given session.

I could say I feel your pain, but I have no clue. Some "full pay!" Pay table had zero predictive value for your experience. I'm keeping my head above water and having a decent enough time. I suspect I will get bored within a year or two with JOB. Cheap strategy rules. I nickel and dime the machines to death. Losing over $20 on a given day, or even in one casino, plunges me into the seven stages of grief. If I can be blessed with another royal flush this year, I will be ecstatic. I logged maybe 4000 hands before my one and only in January.
I would have busted clear to the sub basement waiting for that damn Trop machine to "come around."
