Good Lord, I hope so----or you'd have 0 chance of enjoyment.
(still say casinos push this game on players cuz of all the rediculous things you do--so when you go back to 'normal' game, your chances of an error are greater cuz you have qq's still on the brain! any little advantage ya know)

The guides are good and easy to interpret, the holds are indeed different in QQ than the traditional single line game for all the games.
Reminds me of Bob Dancer LasVegasAdvisor article from two weeks ago (EDIT: even today's article talks about 9/6 DDB QQ, simplifying the strategy), where players like him also are seeking to master the penalty situations in QQ (beyond what the guides cover) to get the maximal return

Or you randomly get the newb that doesn't know the game at all assuming it is just regular 3/5/10 play. I've seen that at a local casino once. She hears "quick quad" yelled out, and she has no idea what that is! Of all the "gimmick variants", it's one of the more poorly explained games unless you hit the "help" button, and who does that? Other than me of course...

Other than me of course...good point(s) but when you mention hitting the HELP button on QQ, you are not implying that the games in the casinos you frequent actually have INFO or TIPS on how to play Quick Quads properly are you? I admit, I have not hit the "help" button recently on any QQ games, whether it is a multi line game or simply the single line version on a 5 Star MAchine, so I do not know exactly what is contained in the "HELP" section these days.....I know other "gimmick" games that populate the 5 Star Machines and have been given their own multi line OFFSHOOTS often contain pretty detailed help sections that feature actual sample hands and games being played out, like the Good times Pay games, Dreamcard with its numerous example hands, and of course "Random Rewards" which simply makes a big deal out of flashing the HIGHER payout totals for otherwise normal hands (like FLush and Fullhouse).....But one of my pet peeves (sort of...... I cannot say it is something I get really upset over or loose sleep lol) is when people choose to sit at a machine featuring Multiline Quick Quads, or Random rewards, or Goodtimes, or Dreamcard, and they proceed to "only" play 1 credit, or anything LESS than the maximum amount needed to implement the "gimmick"......I can tell at least some of them truly think they are playing the gimmick game while they bet less than max, but I am reluctant to try and explain it to them (I do not want to get drawn in as an "Adviser" nor do I want to seem like I am pressuring them to wager more than what they are.....) But it is sad watching people piss money away to the extent I have seen in some cases.......

No, I just meant the help screen gives a clear enough rules explanation to understand what a quick quad actually is. It's not going to tell you to hold something like 8885 instead of just 888.

If you have read my previous posts you will know that I play a lot of QQs at Harrahs AC. Each week a least one player will question me as to how to play QQs. Most are totally clueless to what a QQ is. I'm there for the day so I have no problem trying to explain and teach them how to play. But sometimes I run into a player who asks a question, doesn't like the answer and then gets nasty. Thats when I politely ask them not to ask me any more questions. One women was playing 100 hand QQ and thru away a dealt QQ to try and get 4oak.. I didn't say a word.
