airline tickets

Post by notes1 »

i have no connection to any airline, but did get one of my periodic notices from SOUTHWEST, about a current sale. the prices do seem a little more reasonanable, so if one wants to travel, maybe to another casino, i would at least check out the sale that has another 2-3 days to go.   other carriers normally match the lowest fare.

Yeah, sale ends Thursday. for St. Louis, on certain days it's about $140 cheaper round-trip.

We might be booking tickets to Orlando instead this week...meh...

speaking of dangerous, did everyone see the news about the tests that the TSA does on themselves to see if 'fake' bombs get thru their screening. they only failed to catch the bombs, 95% of the test. makes one feel real good about getting on a plane. if this had happened in the private sector, the public/elected folks would be screaming for the CEO to be fired, impose stiff penalities on the company, etc. the government's response, the head of the program has been reassinged.

I had trouble going through airports to DC recently because of the copper in one knee brace and the metal hinges on the other for my torn MCL. I had to take that one off even though I wore it on the outside so they could see it. They have a tough job.

we have spent billions on this program. would you accept a failure rate of 95% from your doctor, mechanic or any other service you use? yes, they have a tough job, but lots of folks have tough jobs. for all those who keep believing that the governemnt is the answer to all one's problems, it is just more proof to the contrary. wait until we all get our new health premium notices this upcoming year. remember the promise, keep you plan, keep your doctor and the average household will save $2500.

The Southwest sale makes it almost impossible to get on their site and book something, as the sale is so popular.

We persevered, and managed to get a trip, Buffalo - Las Vegas, and return, for two people, for $612 total.

OOOPS , Sorry about blank post. Newbie error. News Alert! Southwest airlines web site is down because of sale. Sale will be extended through Friday. They are trying to fix it. My Daughter-law-is suppose to fly tomorrow from Denver to Hartford and she can't check in because of down site
