If One Doesn't, Then The Other One Will
Our last trip to Coushatta resulted in no trip report because I couldn't see how to type through the tears and pain. Not even a single Quad. Forever the Optimist, I got up early Saturday morning and decided to search for gold elsewhere. Where better to look for gold than at The Golden Nugget? I didn't have to search long before I was reassured. No tears this weekend!

Now with renewed assurance, Sweet J and I will make a quick stop in Shreveport at the end of the week on our way to a Family July 4th Celebration before traveling mid-month to Las Vegas to officially celebrate our 30th Anniversary and Sweet J's XX Birthday!

butch, congrats on the royal. Good luck in Shreveport; have a very enjoyable July 4th celebration with your family and save a couple jackpots for me when I go to Las Vegas in August. You can have a few; just not all of them.

Butch, tell us a little more about the trip to cou****ta where you did not even get a quad.....are u serious? Not a single four of a kind?!?!? How long and how much did you play (i.e. how many hands are we talking here?)Nice Royal for sure!I am just curious because it seems that, as I have always known but others seem to fail to recognize, I am not the only one who can report extremely BAD, statistically improbable results.I'm just going to use hypothetical numbers until Butch informs me of his REAL experience, but assuming Butch played a total of something like 6-7 hours, logging 500-600 hands an hour (which is REALLY REALLY low for a fast sharp player like Butch seems to be), that would mean he failed to hit a quad out of something like 3,600-4,000 hands......that's atrociously unlucky so one must assume that the casino PURPOSELY (intentionally) had the machines Butch was on SET to avoid dealing quads that period of time. If Butch played over a thousand hands an hour, even MORE egregious is the statistical anomaly!!!!!

DB, I was absolutely furious with no quad in over 800 hands at a Bally's machine last week. Fortunately, I guess, that debacle only cost me $50. It was full pay JOB, so a whopping thirteen credits earned. A free buffet wouldn't get me on that machine again. I cannot even imagine Butch's misery. He only mentioned the experience in passing. I think he's still working through the trauma.

Everyone has bad sessions - some are extremely bad. A lot of folks prefer to just put it behind them rather than report them here. Certainly, one person's poor session does not suggest casino malfeasance - improbable results occur, both good and bad. Recently, while playing deuces wild in the monthly contest, I went seventeen hands in a row with absolutely nothing. The improbability of that is off the scale. Does that mean the game is rigged?

Good thing your bad sessions happened on a website with no stakes.
