Tuesday:
Woke up Tuesday with it raining and decided to "shelter in place" at Coushatta. I caught a Royal Flush on 25¢ within the first 30 minutes (like our last trip) and like last trip I began to press my play playing 25¢ and it all went downhill. Played through the entire RF Couldn't keep any rhythm of play and for a third trip especially on BDW. After dinner went back again to 5¢ Deuces. Told Phillip playing down from me that the only way I'd catch 4 deuces is if it was dealt to me. About 20 minutes later this "OMG" hit.

Wednesday:
Played most of the day with Sweet C whining about not catching a hand pay. But, she was catching multiple huge hits on TDB (7 AWAK) and then a dealt quad on 50 hand TDB. I caught another 25¢ Royal holding a Q J but again played through it saving my big hit $.
Thursday:
Deliberated whether to play or not and decided to head home. As we approached Golden Nugget we decided to play our free play and a couple of hundred to keep our card active. Sweet C began play on $100 and kept getting hits moving from 5¢->25¢ ->$1 when she caught this "Golden Nugget". Congratulations Sweet C.

Great recap Double L, congrats to you and Sweet C. Getting dealt the deuces must have really put a smile on your face and Sweet C found a very nice way to cap off your excursion. Congrats again.

Congrats LL just got back from Tyler with family. Glad to see Coushatta gave back some of what they took. Great to see sweet C get that hand pay at GN. Hope to see ya'll in La. sometime.

Love the casino, love the eateries and the pool but the VP tables are lower than Coushatta and worse the cash back/weekly cash can't be used on VP. Even so we thought we'd give it a quick try to keep up our visits. We've both gotten hand pays but.... the above negatives usually win out.

We play lots and lots of hands and I generally play only low volatility DW and DWB . I've played enough hands to pretty well be able to get a feel for whether I'm hitting the % of hands I should while playing both games. Its a running joke between Sweet C and I that I can usually predict closely how many say "Straight Flushes or quads" a hand will hit when we play multi-hand. I knew January was the last time I was dealt deuces....but this time it wasn't like when I have a strong feel something is going to happen and then it does. I also due being dealt 5Aces which happened two trips in a row last year. Just saying....
On the other hand, I also believe we've been extremely "Lucky" in our play. Sweet C has been dealt or re-dealt AWAK 5X this year. This last trip holding an Ace. She hit the Progressive RF 6X over a 4 year period at IOC. And for us both to be dealt 4RF within minutes of each other and we both catch 3 RF out of 20/25 hands. (May3) Or, being dealt 14 RF since we began play in 2007 between us seems beyond a coincidence. I consider it "Luck" or "Fate" or whatever.... I can't explain it!
