Is the VP here Vegas style or lottery, thanks in advance.

In the bottom right corner of their main webpage, you'll see the New York Lottery logo. The NY state lottery run racinos currently do not allow Vegas-style VP unfortunately because politicians are dumb...lol So stick to e-table games or slots if you go, imo.

Wonder why they do that? I know that regular Video Poker machines are allowed in the casinos.

we visit western new york frequently. within just a 45 minute drive, there are two class 3 (vegas) style casinos and two NYS run class 2 (bingo) style racinos. even residents from that area, who go to both, are not aware of the difference. i just had a conversation with an informed player who was playing at one of the recinos. he was dealt 4 kings, told the person next to him to watch, as he discarded the four of a kind. the other player thought he was nuts, but sure enough, he drew 4 9's.
