Finally, a good trip...
I decided 3 months was long enough so I made my way down to Harrah's AC on Sunday evening. I purposely went exhausted from working all day Sunday in the yard to try and take the edge off. I somewhat believe that gambling when you are anxious or eager has a negative effect. I had the following 3 lucky hits and managed to take all of it home.
Back into my hole I go. I'm wondering if I was going to Harrah's too much and that led to my losing streaks. Since play has dropped off I was basically playing the machines against myself. Harrah's has removed a number of STP machines and I'm sure that the 3 remaining are getting more play which may have led to my better result. One never knows.

Nice hits roveer. Going home with 7k more than what you walked in with is always nice.

Congratulations on your good fortune Roveer. I can't explain what the lack of play did for your luck but it worked. In a volatile market like AC no less! Nice hits.

Good stuff! Hope these wins made up for most of what you've lost during your streak.

My first visit here and I have to say congratulations too! But I thought AC was a ghost town now.

Congrats on the good night, they've gotten few and far between for me. You brought up something I ask a long time ago about so few players now, could it have an effect on my results, most folks on this site said "no". Last week I was playing at Ballys, been trying the place out and it seems no better or worse than all the other casinos in this area. Once again I couldn't get a hand playing TDB, after a little over 30K hands of $1 TDB I still haven't hit quad aces on the bar tops. This night I couldn't even get a simple quad, there was 3 other people playing at the bar, 2 of them were playing .05 Keno and the other was playing .05 video poker betting 1 credit at a time. My common sense tells me that my chances of hitting anything decent or having a real good night are slim and none when I'm the only one putting any real money into the machines.
Any way, congrats on a good night.

Congratulations roveer. Glad you trip was awesome. Really love when those hits don't take any effort to decided what to hold.

Most people at Tunica bars don't sit at the bars to gamble. Even when I max bet quarters, I'm often the biggest bettor. Or at least tied with another max quarter bettor. It's rare to see someone betting more on bartops because not much betting is required to drink. I did see someone betting the $5 level at the Horseshoe poker bar in April.
Although Bally's has 9/6 DDB for dollars at the bar at least. 9/6 TDB I assume...I know it's not 9/7. As for my results at 7/5 Super DDB (best quarter game) there...meh, down, but since I've never a premium quad there in my small sample, that's not too shocking.
And Bally's having the craftiest beer selection in Tunica still amazes me, I'm usually the only one drinking any craft beer. They took out 7 taps this year too.
