Heading Out

Post by olds442jetaway »

Heading out to Mohegan Sun to catch a WNBA game, some dinner with friends and the Mrs. and of course play a little. Closing in on 1.1 million hands without a Royal since last October. Some of these hands have been Multi line though and still no dice. I will be happy to just catch some quad deuces. Anyway, if any of you wish to beam over some LL, Ted, Fla Phil, etc. etc. etc.....Irish or Italian luck or any other kind for that matter, I will report back in short order on the Royal. Good luck and health to all. PS. Got coverage from family and friends for the folks and the weather is absolutely pervect today. Sunny and 77 degrees right now.

Well I did post a four leak clover, a lucky rabbit's foot, and a lucky horseshoe for you to choose from but they didn't show up. I hope it wasn't an omen...

Hey, what's a big deal to get a RF? All you need to do is hold an Ace of Spades!

Well gang, some of the luck got through and thank you for that. Wife caught a Royal holding 3 on a nickel game good for 200 bucks. She was playing my card, so technically the casino thinks I caught the Royal. I got destroyed early on on quarter job and joker kings, but bailed out later with at tiny loss for the day by playing 3,5,and 10 cent spin poker Bonus Deuces Wild. The big hits there were a dealt wild royal with all 20 lines in and quad deuces on 2 lines. I had to resort to Martingale clone for the bailout which worked pretty well. Still no Royal with me playing, but a nice relaxing trip, great game with our team winning, and some good dinner and chats with our best friends. Blood pressure came down some I'm sure on this trip. Still miss our kitties who were good for a 20 point pressure drop if they both piled up on you at once. Weather still beautiful today and same forecast for tomorrow.

i must have missed the post about your cats, sorry, if something happened. glad to hear about a good trip and with only a small loss. there have been a number of posts recently where folks are stating they had a good time, did something fun, relieved some stress, all at an acceptible entertainment loss.

Thanks guys and gals. Actually lost the cats to old age last year, but in times of stress like now with the folks situation, you always remember things like pets that were or are great stress relievers.

olds,
It is amazing how much a family member (cat or dog) can help us cope with life's trials. Their unconditional love makes every situation better.
You and the family are in our thoughts.
