hard rock in hollywood, fl.
I have a trip coming up soon to boca raton. I understand that the hard rock casino in hollywood is about 25 miles south. Is it worth my time to investigate, or is it on a par with the hard rock in tampa. I've been to hard rock tampa, and it was disappointing to say the least. Anyone? Thanks!

The Hard Rock and Seminole Casino(in Coconut Creek near Boca) are both Class II. Try the new Isle of Capri in Pompano Beach. It is Vegas style(RNG) gaming.

It's exactly the same except bigger. Check out the Isle of Capri
or horse track in Hollywood.

I was in Florida a few months ago. I will echo all of the previous comments. Stay away from the Hard Rock and go to the Isle of Capri at Pompano. There will not be any return trips down there for me to the Hard Rock.

I have been to the hard rock at least six times and have never ever won. I went to the Isle of Capri and won and got some playing time. My husband hit four deuces twice in one night on different machines. Forget the hard rock.

I go to the Hard Rock quite often and as of Monday, they have Class III machines. The Hard Rock Hotel is top class and the property is awesome. I did hit a Royal at the Isle on the Super Times $1 machine two weeks ago after a tough night at the Hard Rock.

I know they advertise that they are now "Las Vegas" (class III) machines. My mother visited Coconut Creek and said they still have "bingo cards" in the corner of the machine. Can anyone explain this to me?

I'm guessing here, but a similar thing happened a couple of years ago in Oklahoma. Class III can apply to both Slots and to Video Poker machines. It is certainly possible that the Hardrock has some Class III Slot machines that are not driven by Bingo and because of that, can advertise that they are Class III.
