Happenstance
I entered the packed Borgata and somehow managed to find a seat. My favorite seat to boot, an actual chair and not a bar stool. I was leery, as the prior player just cashed out on a high note, quad Kings. Figure a 500 hand odyssey and heavy losses until the next quad. So bummed I only put in a ten and resolved to leave at $20. A full house got me to $17, which went down to $3. At $10 I got my own quad Kings. Following his lead, I too cashed out, ADT be damned. Half hour, scant coin in. As I was repeatedly paired on the two machine table with half of an annoying couple, I conceded my cherished seat and enjoyed my drink on a couch. I was there for two promos, football picking and $1500 free play drawings all day. Yeah, good luck with that one.

FAA my last girlfriend used to hit those drawings all the time at Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL. We used to know right away when she won because they routinely butchered her first name.

Ted, your luck casts a wider net than Homeland Security! I would have been relegated to five hours of losing and a roll call roster of lucky stiffs. Jealousy and losing combo deal. Speaking of promos, on Saturday Bally's was giving away a 2016 Lexus NX 200t, Harrah's a 2016 Cadillac SRX, and Caesars a 2016 Audi Q5. All were parked in their respective lobbies. Winner may select $30,000 cash in lieu of the SUV. I was at Harrah's. At 3 PM sharp, a man from Philadelphia was the announced winner. He had fifteen minutes to appear at the front desk or a new winner would be chosen. He was long gone, of course. Apparently a friend was still on the premises and called him. He was at Bally's and returned in the fifteenth minute to claim the Cadillac! It was an incredibly dramatic finish over the PA system.

Most folks take the cash prize since they do not want to pay 1099 taxes for a vehicle that cost too much upkeep.
Thanks for sharing the story FAA. Do not sweat too much realistically the person either wins half a car in cash or two thirds if they decide to claim the car

Sure. Take the cash, pay $10,000 tax or so and get half a car net value. Beats the hell out of being an envious spectator at any rate. What a frantic finish. I was desperately trying to squeeze out a quad.
