Deuces Wild

Post by tmgreg »

I enjoy reading all of your posts and stories both good and bad...thought I would share a quick one from my trip to Las Vegas in August. My girlfriend and I stayed way out at the Red Rock on a pretty good room deal, $119 a night plus $25 a day in food credit. By far the the nicest place I have stayed in Las Vegas. The rooms were exquisite, the pool amazing and the staff super. They've even got a bowling alley and movie theaters. The casino was just ok for me though, very big and clean with tons of machines but amazingly no one playing them. Not enough tables as they were all pretty full most of the time.  I couldn't find any video poker pay tables to my liking, but did enjoy the poker room quite a bit.  Being that we couldn't leave town without a little triple play deuces wild we headed over to the Palms on our last night in town and found a great selection of machines. We played a few hours going up and down, only breaking about even until this neat little hand came up...My first time hitting the 4 deuces on the bottom line, and boy was it exciting. They came up almost in slow motion if you can believe that. I definitely recommend the Palms for video poker fun and it's only just a block or two off the strip, plus they have the Playboy Club!

The picture of your win is worth three thousand words.  I am going to Vegas in December and will be staying at the Excalibur.  I hope to see this picture on my VP machine when I am playing it!!

I have also seen it practically deserted-I assumed because of newness.
vpFREE shows  19  FPDW there,(http://members.cox.net/vp_free/REDR.htm)
all slant tops, plus other positive alternatives. Great parking convenience.
