Posting Pictures/Images ......revisited
What is the current preferred method or modus for posting images of any and all things captured in the casino (primarily wins of course, but people like VMAN have excelled at posting pics of BEER and food etc.)is Instagram the preferred site that is then linked via URL? I have an instagram account that I rarely if ever use but I am thinking of resurrecting it........I guess we can always cut & paste right?

Use this, it is the easiest.

I think instagram forces you to embed their card when sharing.

I seem to remember you posting pictures in past forum posts, has your modus changed since then? I personally am challenged with regard to posting ever since I went to a newer browser.
I recall that billyjoe used to be quite adept at posting pictures, can't you just ask him for some advice?

advice?
Ted, try using Google Chrome, it is supported by many different operating systems. Download it from your current web browser and install it.

The browser you use has nothing to do with posting photos. All you need
to do is upload your photo somewhere on the web so you can obtain a web
address for the picture. All web images have an address. To test it you
can open your browser, type in the full address and view the picture.
I use FTP and upload mine to my personal website, but you can use any public portal.

That's not entirely accurate Phil. I was able to post pictures to the forum using photobucket and then copying and pasting here. When I switched from IE, I started having difficulty posting pictures in the same ease as when I was using IE.
The only differing component was me switching browsers.

You brought up a good point that I totally forgot about. IE did have some unique file upload features. It gets a little more technical, but the idea is the same. In order for the forum to find the photo, it must have a web address and file name. Maybe webman can make this a little clearer.

I recall that billyjoe used to be quite adept at posting pictures, can't you just ask him for some advice? Man you are one desperate personFirst off, WHAT IS THE BROWSER you are using TED?????? Seriously, what??Second, do you really want to keep making an idiot of yourself with this Billyjoe business? because I guarantee you this will not end well for you, and you know exactly what I mean. Seriously, what is your problem now? This BS with your browser is just your latest didge, you cannot stand the fact I am calling BS on all the alleged fantastical hits you keep claiming so now you are doubling down and trying to construct some sort of perception to save face.....let me make it easy for you, NO ONE CARES, only you do.If you really wanted to post pics you'd find a way, if for no other reason to stick it to ME......Which in this case as I said before, I actually wish you would.......we all like seeing pics of awesome hits.Good lord you are a sucker for punishment.......

I've mentioned my browser issues before DaBurglar, I would very much like to post pictures of my winning hands just so you can then again say that they aren't mine.
I haven't known a day without pain for many years DaBurglar so I'm kinda used to it.
