round 2

Post by paco13 »

Well, just booked a 2 night stay @ Bally's for mid August.
Hope this time round is better than the last. Still dealing with the remnants of whatever I had the last time but feeling better each day. Maybe luck will be better to.

We have a Bally's in this area. After Harrah's shut down here I started searching for a new place to play vp, tried Bally's for 2 solid years and couldn't believe how bad I did, quit playing there cold turkey and haven't been back.

I can only imagine what I am in for! Good to know. On a gut level, I hated Bally's in AC. Then I hit a March RF and thought I would have a mild enough summer there. Sat was the final straw. Over a thousand hands before a stinking JOB quad is not exactly a drawing card. The 9/6 bank is very uncomfortable too. Free standing machines. No place to put your forearms, drink or phone. Why suffer so much inconvenience for their so called full pay games which are often quite unplayable? Time to give Harrah's my business on a trial basis. At least with their carousels I barely even notice the other players.

notes1, You're killing me.

Doris, Yes I am staying in a Jubilee room. Comped for both nights.

FAA, I would have stayed at Harrah's but the family wants to stay on the Boardwalk.
I never did take that Jitney ride last time. Maybe it's worth a shot this time.

You're like the good angel and bad angel all in one post.
No problem, got it planned out.
If I hit anything good this time I will be looking for a low cost index fund to invest some of it in.
