Response to FloridaPhil's Hard Rock Play
I'll separate the information and respond to each segment. Some of which you will need to respond at a later time when you make a trip to the Hard Rock.
I'll do my best. My average week's play is about 4-6 hours of single line deuces wild. Most of my play is at the quarter level. I play $20 at max coin quarters switch to dollar play when the counter reaches $40, play back to $20 then switch back to quarters.  I cash out every win over $100.Â
Since you have your way of fluctuating your wager, I think it will help to go by points you've earned at the end of your play to determine what bounce you receive from the Hard Rock.
Before you play, find out the point balance from the card reader. If you are unsure how to get your point balance go to the Wild Card Players Desk and find out. Write down your point balance from when you start and when you finish.
The quarter part, the 25-12-9-4-4 at Tampa or is that gone? If it is not there anymore, start playing 50 cent Airport Deuces.
The quarter part for Hollywood makes sense, it is Airport Deuces.
Quarter play and up at the Hollywood Hard Rock is 98.9%. Due to the streaky nature of DW, I occasionally can play at the $1 level for an extended period of time. I have hit a number of $1,000 quad deuces this way and one $4,000 royal so far this year. When I have exhausted my daily bankroll not counting cashed tickets, I go home. My normal weekly free play is around $35 unless I hit a big $1 play jackpot which makes it higher. On monthly bonus days, which are almost always on a Friday, my free play can be anywhere from $80 to $150. It gets higher if I play more dollars or hit a $1 jackpot.
What I've highlighted in green color and by the sound of things. It is ADT based. If the free play fluctuates by betting more dollar hands, you are putting in higher coin in amounts hence more free play. The amount on Bonus Days are substantial, it is best to plan your trips on that day unless there is a good reason not to. Again write down the points you earned from you play and write the free play amount to get. Keep a good log and review it afterwards.
If you could plan a short trip of just 1 hour, play that $2 Jacks or Better at Tampa. It should be the same as playing 8 hours of quarters. See if the free play amount is "the same". If so, I'd play that for real money and play deuces wild online for fun.
My wife's free play can be as much as $30. She never switches to dollars. On our bonus trips, which are about once a month, our room is comped and we always have enough accumulated credit for modest meals and drinks. We never play on weekends, On those trips we play at least 8-10 hours each. From my experience the free play, room comps and bonus cash offers at the Hard Rocks are generous. This may not seem like a lot of free play to some, but we have played at out of state casinos where the same play doesn't buy a sandwich. The only trick to their comps is they expire quickly so you have to be a regular to take full advanatge of them.
I recall the Mrs. plays slower and only max quarters, even quits early if things start off bad. That explains the reason her free play is less than what you get.
Do you get meal credits as a bounceback or is it all entirely earned at a rate of 0.0625%? I get semi-monthly food credits and additional credit from play.
About the "at least 8-10 hours each", I assume this is Hollywood since the Mrs. accompanies you only at Hollywood and not Tampa most of the time.
At max quarters for a slower player at 500 hands per hour. The Mrs. is putting in $6250 of action for a 10 hour session at most. The $30 freeplay at a free hotel stay (valued at $189-$219 a night at Hollywood) is a good value.
I will conclude that you and the Mrs. are at least getting good value at the Hard Rock. Whether you are going to play some Jacks or Better will determine how much more freeplay you can get.

Phil, I think you are doing well with your free play there. Mine averages about the same as yours and I play about 25 hours a week and run about 25k a week through the machines. My comp room offers have disappeared since their upgrade a few weeks ago. Luckily, I have reserved quite a few already right through the fall. I can't get a straight answer out of anyone on why since my play level has been quite high. I suspect they may have panicked over the jackpots, but that is sheer speculation on my part. Casino managers and owners are just as superstitious as gamblers. They have already yanked some of the machines I play.
