VP.com Vice President's son won Gold in Rio

I read Mr. Dancer's weekly column this morning and this time it was a good tribute to his good friend's son Connor Fields. His good friend is Mike Fields, the vice president of this very website we are on, and it is interesting how far they go back from reading the article. It was more about Connor who competed in the BMX Cycling event at the Rio 2016 Olympics. I will not spoil any details.

The Olympics ended more than a week ago, but I was not paying attention other than the major sports (basketball, golf) and major starts (Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt gets all the attention).

Although belated, congrats to the Fields family with this distinguished accomplishment, winning a GOLD medal, that is recognized around the world through the tests of time.

Very nice. Not a BMX fan, but any Olympic medal is something to celebrate,especially a Gold.
Congratulations to Connor Fields and kudos to the family for the support they gave him.
