Another Month of Futility

Well, August is over. Just when I thought it couldn't possibly get worse, it does. I have kept a monthly spreadsheet for the last year as far as daily hands in the monthly contest. I play DDB. Here are the August results:

As you can see, not very good at all...but a slight improvement over April and May which were not good at all. Finally made it into the top 500 or so. Oh well, September starts tomorrow!

I haven't had much luck with the monthly contests myself. In fact I have yet to play a whole 15k hands in one month. I tend to get discouraged when I don't hit any premium hands the first week and see the leaders with 2-3 or more. Or I get wrapped up doing other stuff and just forget to play. Maybe next month will be the month though.
