Hollywood Casino Joliet Sat night 9/3

Post by Tedlark »

I had to work about 15 minutes away from Hollywood Joliet for a couple hours beginning at 5:00 am Sunday morning so I got the notion to stop into the casino for a few hours before the 5:00 am call.

I sat down at my favorite bank of 10 play machines and decided to try my luck with some .50 denom deuces wild. I was playing for about 30 minutes when I was dealt 3 to the royal, held and hit draw; nailed the royal on the last hand for a nice handpay of just over 2k.

I was waiting about 5 minutes to be paid off and right when the slot attendant was walking up with my dough, I was dealt quad kings, having switched to TDB. As the attendant walked up I told him to get ready to pay me again and I nailed a nice little $1,250.00 hand pay.

About 30 minutes after getting paid off for the dealt kings I again, was dealt 3 to the royal and yep; hit draw and nailed my second 2k royal of the night.

I switched to Frenzy and got dealt trip 3's while playing .50 denom TDB. I was gifted 27 free games and I caught small 3's on 2 of the lines but alas, no kicker. Nice payoff though.

From that point on the machine was up and down but I wasn't getting dinged too bad. I decided to switch to another machine I had some luck on in the past, this machine was a 5 play and I was playing $1.00 denom TDB. I was about 15 minutes into the game when I nailed quad 3's with a kicker for another hand pay of just over 2k.

Heading on a downward trend I decided to go back to my original machine. I played for a while, again on .50 denom 10 hand TDB. I finished the night at 4:15 am by nailing quad 2's with a kicker for another 1k.

All in all a pretty good night. Not as sexy as some of olds' recent big hits but a multiple royal night is always pretty cool.

Still trying to figure out how to upload pictures.

Thanks Ted for sharing the story and congrats on your winning day.

You can use your phone to upload your images. It is worth seeing so I'll help you every step of the way so please stay with me this time. If DaBurgalar can do this exact process, you can too!

On your phone's browser go to

https://postimage.org

and create an account. It should be easy to do there but if not let me know where you get stuck.

Please tell me what phone you have as well.

What a night!!   Love to see the pics.Alpax, great tip on https://postimage.org/ .  I didn't know that existed.  Posting photos is not difficult once you figure out how to get them on the web.  This makes it easy.

Congrats Ted - how exciting! Haven't been to Hollywood Joliet in years. Are the video poker machines still downstairs?

Thanks everyone, it was an enjoyable session.

As for posting pics, I'll try to figure it out. I have a photobucket account but as I've said before; I got a new computer running windows 10 with a different web browser too and for some reason I have issues posting pictures. I also cannot edit fonts on forum posts here either.

mogee - yes, all the video poker machines are still downstairs in the corner.

Do you have the Photobucket app installed on your phone? You could send images directly from your camera gallery. Much easier than using a computer.

I would recommend imgur over Photobucket, as these main stream photo sharing services tend to delete explicit pictures including gambling related images.

iOS and Android supported which is the vast majority of the consumer smartphone market, plus the iPhone 7 was announced today.
