Points for Boyd Sapphire?
How many tier points for Sapphire currently; and when does the new tier-year begin?
Would appreciate any assist.

It may not be the same for locals versus out of towners. We are out of towners. We need to accumulate 25000 points in a twelve month period to attain Sapphire. I think it then lasts for a year.
Each person's year is different. They keep track of your play, month by month, and as long as you have at least 25000 points in the last 12 months, you keep your Sapphire status.

I am out of town and 25,000 works. However they count each month. So right now you lose your points from Nov 2015. Any you earn this month will count right away and good for the year.

I am an out of town player as well.
I've reached Sapphire back in July 2015 and it was set to expire July 2016.
On a January 2016 trip I played 25000 points. My Sapphire card expiration extended to July 2017 after it expired back in July.
I'll pay a return visit in the next few months.

I'm signed up via Sam's Town Tunica. They say I have to earn 100k in 6 months. Hahaha No. The best thing for an "out of towner" is to sign up in Vegas.

I think this further supports that it is best to accrue status in BConnected at the Boyd properties in Vegas. Same with mLife.
They count $1 vp as 1 point. 25k in 12 months is completely doable for quarter video poker players.

Seems like the best plan....Outside of Nevada, the hinterlanders make up their own rules...including stretching videopoker skins over keno/bingo games....I miss Fremont...I shall return....Thanks again for the info.

25K every 6 months for Vegas locals. It is pretty easy to do, especially playing multiline VP. 250K for Emerald. $1 in for 1 point.
