I am so burned out
I can hardly get myself to play. Need 1500 more hands for the seven stars and just dont want to play. The site expects so much play, it just gets boring needing to play so much. Not complaining about the site on this regard, just I can't play for fun anymore. I want to, but it feels more tortuous than pleasurable.
Plus I think all these contests are messing up my swing. I spend no time practicing or learning games I'll play for money. I'm beginning to forget what's right and what's wrong and these contests are going to cause me screw ups one day. I'm getting lazy too. Dont even try making sure my holds are held, just trying to get it over with and I'll probably do that zoning out gambling cash.

Hey Onenickel, why not try some fast paced Keno for a while...just pick your numbers and hit the button..no card holding or nothing. Heck, you can watch T.V and hit the button..LOL.. Helps to get those last points you need a little faster...Just a suggestion...Good luck.

I agree the contests are pretty boring. I do enjoy playing against other players in the regular play section. At least the points reset every day and It's the only chance I get to play TDB.

In contests here it takes that one grand slam (or two) to make it interesting for the contestant and with such a short span (100 hands or less) to get that elusive hand makes it even tougher. The only contest I participate in here is the Seven Stars monthly.
Good luck to all.
Good luck to all.

Hey Onenickel, it does take a lot of play and achievements to make Star 7 contest. I'm glad the website lists recent members' scores after games. My scores are so lousy sometimes(more often than not) that I feel much better when I see I'm not alone. I also wonder when I can't seem to get to second round 7, I ask myself was it worth it to work so hard to qualify. Then I tell myself it was at beginning of month. (ComeBackKid and I challenge each other.
) Just wanted you to know we're rooting for you, and like someone suggested just don't play contests. Hang in here, and Good Luck.

Our challenges are more like rooting for each other CBK.
I love it. Not caring so much who qualifies first, just challenging and fun to encourage each other along to see how fast we can do it.
Pretty pitiful to work so hard first of month, and then we can't even make the finals. :( Even more pitiful when I can't even come close to some of the higher scores in the first round of Star 7. Bet ya we'll still work just as hard come Jan 1 trying to qualify.
