More blame correctly assigned
The baloney that has been Republican foreign policy since 9/11 is self evident. This country has wasted tens of Trillions on failed, absurd defense policies while ignorant idiots lament spending on entitlements, and it's not even close between the two.
The logic cited by certain people here that by spending Trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan we somehow kept the "enemy" out is so pathetic and stupid I have trouble even believing that others think this....

Everyone is bombing the crap out of ISIS....Russia, France, Syria, turkey and of course the us of a....
This is the thing that no one talks about anymore....Occupying a foreign country that does not want to be occupied is the biggest losing proposition in international relations, period. In 2003, the argument was put forth we need to remove Saddam because he has nukes and because he supported AL Qaeda....Total complete Bs... Okay fine, so we blast Saddam out of there, but what followed has been the most convoluted disastrous series of events and decisions in a long time....The sheer volume of money lost alone boggles the mind. Worse of course is the dead...And wounded. How is that not something people feel outrage about??
Is it wrong not to want to make that mistake again?

Fyi. Trump mentioned specifically spending Trillions in other countries while ignoring our internal needs, and still not feeling safe.
It's time everything admit the fallacy that bombing the crap out of anything or anyone does not make us safe, it just doesn't. What CAN help is a smart application of intelligence, special forces and recruitment of informants at a fraction of the cost in blood an treasure.
One of the few things I have liked about Trump so far is his choice of the marine general who said he can have more success with a six pack and rapport than bombs and bullets. It's the truth...
