Sharp shooting on the 5-Star

After a brutal December and early January, my gambling budget was just about gone. With numerous finacial irons in the fire, it might have taken a few months to get the casino fund built back up.

I only play single line games and spend most of my time on the good old Game King or the 5-Star - which offers single line versions of Dream Card, UlT X, Quick Quads, Double Pay, STP, DSTP and Random Rewards.

Last Saturday wasn't going very well playing TDB Dream Card. Was dealt a low pair with kicker, when that sultry siren called out "Dream Card!" - giving me trips. Boom! Caught the quad on the draw. That was my first time ever catching a Quad while holdimg the kicker. Didn't even spin it off and went home.


Yesterday, I went to my other local with $300 and decided on DDB QQ. Was up a few bucks when I was dealt 4 Aces $1000 with a shot at the kicker. Nailed it. My first time ever getting dealt aces on a $1 machine.

While waiting to be paid I put my remaining $100 in the machine and 3 threes with an ace was dealt. Held the 3s and kicker hoping for a deuce or a 3 and the last 3 popped for another $1000. Total time in the casino - 43 minutes. Gonna chill out a while, Vegas is coming soon.

Hard to believe you connected on a low pair + kicker on TTB sooner than a trips + kicker on TDB. But the opportunities are much more often in the former.
