Jan,Feb 2017 report just added March
This new year I went to 100% of my play on 9/6 Jacks or better. Raised my yearly
bankroll to $3000 and lowered my trip bankroll to $300. Boy can you play this
game a long time and rack up comp points on a small bankroll! Many think
Jacks in boring. To me VP is boring no matter what game I play. I put
in my ear buds turn on the music and its much better to play long hours. My
buddy and I have been playing a system when we hit a 3 of a kind we
then double our bet till we lose then back down to 5 coins as we play 10
coin machines. He has been playing 10 cent while I have been playing 20
cent level. You might ask why not just play 25 cent, well every four
hands I get a free one at 20 cents and my bankroll goes longer. As far
as the system goes I look at it like this, if I flat bet I am a loser
since pay back is 99.54%. So if I can get some good pays or a royal at
the double bet (with a lot of luck) I can add to bankroll. Now
all I can do is tell you how the system works and give my results. I am
not at all saying it will make you a winner or even try it. You only
really get about 10% of all hands played at the double bet level so LUCK
has to be your friend. Here is my January report. Trips to casino 19Coin in $81,995Free play $760 ( includes kiosk promos)Royals 1 ($800.00)St Flush 64 of kinds on Double bet 21Jan Gain/loss -$125Food vouchers $100gas card $40Free rooms used 0Well
back to the system talk. Now my buddy did hit a royal at the 10 coin
bet late last year. As I said its a lucky shot since only 10% of hands
played will be at the 10 coin bet. I had my lucky shot today
after getting the 3 of a kind, hit max 10 coin bet and won that hand the
very next hand held 3 to the royal and the system pays off! I know they
say systems don't work. Hell nothing works all the time but what else is
there flat betting?I know Phil has the CS and Olds does his thing
all we can do is report what our results and you can say whatever you
like. Its just a way to break up a boring game called VP.

Good hits and detailed report. Thanks for sharing.
I mentioned it before how fortunate that you have 20 cent denomination. It rounds very nicely to a $1 a round. Wish more places offered that instead of actual coin denominations.
The ability to average longer sessions with a smaller bankroll is one of the biggest reasons that Jacks or Better is my favorite. I'd trade that over the possibility of leaving the casino a big winner for the day.
I personally feel VP of any variant and most casino games get monotonous after three hours, so I segment my sessions to that length.

Congrats on the nice royals. I never tire of seeing them posted. Nothing wrong with your system as you are never short changing yourself. 5 coins or 10 the odds don't change.
You said you had 21 four of a kind on D bet. What does D stand for?

I am presuming it is the Double Bet that occurs after a 3 of a kind hit or better.

since pay back is 99.54%.------------------------------------------------------------------Elementary, my dear Wildman. The math will bury us at least nineteen times out of twenty out the gate. The strategy must be tamp down losses, in Tampa and elsewhere, and pray for the max premium hand. I wish AC had this twenty cent denomination also. Clean and spare. But I wish I could commit to a $300 bankroll too.

What casino is this?? Never have I seen 20cent machines before!! My favorite casino, Casino Fandango in Carson City NV, has a lot of machines with the 20c denomination. Looking at vpfree2.com the Bodines in Carson and the Peppermill in Reno have machines offering 20c as well. Only one casino in Vegas has it though, Jerry's Nugget. Seems like 20c is either really rare or just has such poor paytables that vpfree2 doesn't list them.

What stands out to me is the nearly 1% cashback on a full-pay game. Where I play, the high pay-back games would yield very little.

It would even be more but since I am not and have never been Diamond when I turn in cash off my card for free play its only 50 cents on the dollar, I turned in $400 got $200 in free play. The kiosk games I normally only get $10 but got $100 and $50 free play in Jan. I think Feb total will be much lower.
