First a big thanks to Fla Phil for posting these. I just texted him to check on how they were doing and the 55 T Bird and he offered to post these here. Well, hopefully, my long batting slump is over. These both came in the same day. Its time to go back to quarters for awhile. I am still not hitting any Royals on the center lines for several hundred thousand hands now, but I will take them any way I can get them. Playing 3 lines though a larger roll is needed, has bailed me out several times. These were not what I call pot shots, but what I was doing was budgeting a certain number of hands at 1 per line and if the bankroll allowed, up the bet a bit for another amount of time. I am still struggling with the discipline in that really I should not be betting more than if say quad deuces or a Royal hits, I would be even for the session. I am still working on that but have lapses in judgment. Anyway, like last year, the broke State of Ct will be happy to rake 6 percent or so off the top of these and other hits just like last year. Hope all are well and good luck out there. I plan on taking in the Yankee game a little later up there over a few beers and some boneless barbecue wings. I better get my veggies too....Hmmmm..

A royal is a royal!

Have there been other royals, not on the centre line during this reported period of hundreds of thousands of royalless results?

Would have been so much more at full coin.  What a waste.

But, the machine he was playing on does not reduce the royal payout disproportionately for less than a full coin wager. He was playing three lines, betting three credits per line, and was paid off for the royal at 800x3, i.e., 2400 credits.

Sure, the win would have been more if the bet had been higher, but only in proportion to that higher bet.

Thanks for the replies. Some of you guys are not looking carefully at the pay table or payout. This is the lone dollar machine at Mohegan Sun that pays 800 for 1 for bet 1 on the Royal hit that I have been writing about for years. That is why that is that is about the only machine I play. So bet really 1 bet 2 bet 3 or bet 4 is really full coin and not a waste at all. The other Double down stud machine is the standard payout for all DDS machine on the deuces wild game. The spin poker game has a 98.8% return on the Bonus Deuces Wild game. The DDS machine long term return is just under 98 percent for the deuces wild game. As to Onemoretry's question those royaless streaks were based on single line games. Until recently that has been the bulk of my play. I keep track separately is the Royals are hitting on the center line. For some line I seem to go several hundred thousand hands usually on the center line or single line games without Royals. I am about where I should be for Royals on the first or third lines.
I usually stay over at the casino 3 nights a week which means I am actually playing 6 days a week. I don't discount Royals that hit on the first or 3rd line, I just keep track separately. For example, a typical session could run 9 hours with short breaks in between at about 700 hands per hour. That would be 2100 hands per hour if 3 lines were played for the entire session or nearly 19000 hands per session. I only keep track of the Royalless streaks on the center line so for that purpose a session would be about 6300 hands
