Progressive rolyal flush
What is the highest progressive royal flush you have seen? Mainly looking at $0.25 denomination. Mine would be $4900 on deuces wild bonus poker at Greek town casino in Detroit, MI years ago.

The Monarch Casino in Black Hawk Colorado has a bank of triple play $0.25 machines at their bar with progressives on all games. About 4 years ago, the progressive for a dealt royal flush (all 3 lines) on dbl dbl bonus was hit for over $72,000. Most of the individual progressives never get above $2000.

I seem to recall the old "cruise ship type" Copa Casino in Gulfport MS having a bar with a host of full pay games hooked up to a progressive for all vp games at the bar. Full pay dueces, 9/6 JOB, 10/7 DB, etc. I believe it reached $5400+ at least once. It also had a secondary jackpot progressive running at the same time. So, when the $5400 was hit, the progressive reset to about $3300(?). A few guys just lived at this bar!

Years ago, the Tropicana in AC had a bank of .25 DB Triple Play machines with a progressive for a sequential Royal in each suit. I was there the day an elderly gentleman hit a progressive that was a little over $ 250K. I remember him holding a large cardboard check with the camera's going off.

Although mine were not progressive royal hits I did hit 2 nice progressives back in 2001 (I remember the year because I went to see Apocalypse Now Redux" the first Saturday it was out).
Before it was Harrah's East Chicago it was known as Mardigras. I was playing a bank of machines that had progressives for the royal, AWAK, and 2/3/4's with kicker. About an hour in I hit the AWAK progressive for $6,800.00. About an hour after that I hit the 2's progressive for another $2,800.00. I went home happy.

Holy smokes, Ted.
I've played (what I assume) is the same bank, in it's current form, many times. Had my share of victory and defeat. Do you remember what the base game was? Now, it is 9/5 DDB and often goes over 100% with meter-rise figured in. Highest AWAK I have ever seen was $2500ish. One time I saw the royal around $11000.
BTW, it was Showboat.

You're right PPP, it was Showboat. The machines were in the very bottom level against a wall. As you came off the escalator you didn't go straight but rather you doubled back around into where these machines were. I'm relatively sure the game I was playing was 5 play and dealt aces with kicker earned you the progressive as well as dealt 2/3/4's with kicker also earned you the progressive.
I haven't been to that boat in many years even though the hotel is pretty nice. Being that Harrah's built the hotel I wouldn't expect anything else.

Many years ago played a progressive poker at an Indian Casino (Fantasy). Needed to play $2.00 to be eligible for the big pay out. That was a lot for me at the time. I went ahead and did it. Got the Royal pretty quickly, over $11,000 win! Hit another at a different Indian casino the next year here in Calif. for over $10,000. Don't see those progressives anymore.
