Triple Double Strategy

What is your strategy when playing triple double when you are dealt ace and a 10, jack, queen, or king suited.  Most of the time I will only hold the ace, unless it is ace king suited.  The reason being there are only 4 ways to make a royal, and 12 ways to make aces with a kicker.  Does anyone else do this too?  Also sometimes I will hold ace, jack or ace queen, but never ace 10 suited.  Would like any opinions.

Ace with one of suited King or Queen or Jack you hold both.  Ace with a suited TEN, you hold only the Ace.  Anything else, you hold the ACE bare.
