Fort McDowell & AYCE Lobster
Made the drive to the Fort again, and was not disappointed.
The Mogollon Band played almost all night. They are great entertainment. If you ever get a chance to hear them. They will pump you up.
After a couple of lobsters and a piece of Prime Rib, I found a seat between 2 Keno players that had been plopped there for hours. First hand, caught Aces for $2400. Talk about crying in their green beer. A few minutes later was dealt 2's for another $1200. Within a hour I caught multiple quads at $500 each. Bride didn't fare as well, and moved to a 5 Treasures machine. As I was getting paid my second hand of Aces, she walked up and showed me her cashout ticket of $1200 and change. She hit the Major jackpot on the 5 Treasures playing $.88 .
We got out of Dodge.
The End

You woke up, right? That is generally a pretty good way to start the day.

What's your point? Because you're butchering CK's great news. Thread killing is Ted's job.

Congrats CK. The Fort is the best VP casino in the valley. It is too smokey, however, and we have limited our play there to Bingo which also is the best. I'm crious as to what bank you were playing.

The EndThis is an amazing story of success.....hearty congratulations all around, to you and your "bride" (the Mrs Casino Knight). Can you expand a little to cover the following details?1) Your VERY FIRST hand yielded a handpay jackpot of 2400 bucks....what game & denom were you playing, and when you mention "crying in green beer", are you referencing the two forlorn "keen-oh" players who were thus "green with envy", or were they enjoying green colored beer for Saint Patrick's day and were shedding tears O' joy at your apparent good fortune???2) What was your "second hand of aces" exactly, that required a hand pay?3) The success you've enjoyed at Fort Macdowell seems to be prolific.....I'd be hard pressed to find a reason to gamble anywhere else, If I were in your situation. Is this recent success truly exceptional or have you had similar "RUNS" at other casinos as well?Again, nice hit(s)

The old IGT uprights behind the newer flat tops by the Deli. The Keno ploppers give them the most play it seems. 25/50/100 demno 5/10 coins.

As it happens sometimes while waiting to get paid, I hit another hand pay. My bride reminded me this morning as she was sorting the laundry that any money left in my pants belongs to her. Usually it's small change. Not this morning.
Friday night while waiting for a hand pay, I hit another quad, and as there was another machine open and I moved over to it. The previous player had been playing quarter Deuces Wild. So I bump it up to a dollar X2, and low and behold I catch 4 Deuces, for another $2K. So now in all the confusion of the multiple payouts, I stuff the $2K cash and the W2G into my back pocket....Where I forgot about it. Until about 10 minutes ago, when she gave me the W2G and said she's going shopping.

Nothing personal, obviously. I hate the hand pay waiters who seize another machine on principle.
