Sad news...
I saw Webman announce the sad news that Edog has passed away...I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to his family.
I loved his quote on VP forum, which I believe he truly meant, as we know his love of dogs...
"If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die I want go where they went". Will Rogers,1879-1935
R.I.P Edog

Yes, it is a bit of sad news. Edog was unique but yet he fit in here.
R.I.P. Edog, you are now eternally in the Outer Sanctum.

I was incredibly sad to learn of this. While on the forum edog743 and I had a number of... disagreements (?) regarding the contests, we regularly exchanged private messages as well and I was always rooting for him to make a good run in the Monthly contest. I will certainly miss these interactions. Despite his lack of royals (only 2 total) he was still better than a 100% player in the single hand contests over 3 years and appeared in the Top 10 mid-month on multiple occasions without a royal flush. Something to be proud of (in my opinion). I just wish he'd finally had the great month he was longing for.
Apart from the site, I believe he was a good man who certainly had a heart for his doggies.
We've lost too many good people the past several months and it won't be quite the same without them.
Miss ya already, edog743.

Sad to hear about edog. He is one of the few people on the board that in the past I have exchanged emails with. A couple of years ago he pm'd me during a month when I was having exceptional luck during a monthly contest. I couldn't tell at the time if he was congratulating me on my good fortune or if he was skeptical because even though I had only one royal during that month I had quite a few aces with kickers and other premium hands. He will definitely be missed.

saw a show once that E should've been the co-star in, I told him about it and once he watched, not sure I've ever seen someone more genuinely appreciative for the info...I know on the chat side, I've said it way too many times...but in this case, 1 more won't hurt--if you have 14min to watch this...maybe in some way it's like paying our last respects--cuz this sure was what he was all about...
