Gambling Legislation 2018
FloridaPhil posted a bill that is up for a vote in Florida this year that was interesting (feel free to post again here). Curious what other gambling-related bills are up for a vote in other states and what the ramifications are of a YES/NO vote. Post details here including state, bill, and what a yes or no vote would mean for gambling in the state.

Florida appears to be the big contest this year. A Yes vote allows new competitors to enter the market.
Closest thing to a gambling prop on the Nevada is something concerning exempting female hygiene products from sales tax.

Indiana and several other states most likely have sportsbook betting on their calendars. I don't know what the over/under is with these states getting something done on this.
Also: Illinois may be getting a new governor who may be friendly to a casino bill if it puts a casino in the City of Chicago. Chicago WILL be getting a new mayor next year too and they may be casino friendly as well.

PA passed a sweeping gaming expansion last year. Sports betting and online gaming should launch by Q1 2019.
