My wife and I were newly married, young adults. This was our first trip to Las Vegas to attend a real estate meeting. We were not gamblers, but I knew the video poker machine gave you the odds, so you would be able to play the better machines in the casinos. Both casinos I played the nickel machines - one nickel at a time. Both times I won the royal flush and the $12.50. I was so happy, that I told the person next to me that I won the royal flush three times this weekend. The person sitting next to me said: "Why don't you keep quiet, so the other players won't know how stupid you are." That was the last time I played one coin at a time.
