Olds, Don't try telling any of that to Billy.   He's a big time Black Jack player you know.  He only stops by here to keep us in line.   Come to think about it, if he was that successful he wouldn't have time to repost everything I say.   Didn't I say that about someone else on this forum once?

Even more lies. Have you no shame?
Never mind, asked and answered.

Billy,  just for fun here's a couple of nice hits I made in Tampa playing short coin.  Both were hit on a $20 pot shot.  $2,000 from $40 with no taxes.  I figure this will drive you nuts.  Come to think about it, we've never seen you win a dime on this forum.  Just more BS...

Over 25 years ago, I played a lot of black jack alone with craps. Both very good games as far as percentage of returns goes. Twenty some years ago, the dealer had black jack 11 out of 13 deals. I have never played another hand since. As to craps, just got tired of dealing with the cigars in your face, drunks, and other rude people at the tables along with standing in one place 12 hours at a time. Foxwoods now has electronic craps but the intervals between bets are just too long for me. I prefer the madness of dealing 500 to 1000 hands per hour in vp.

Well, if nobody else does, I understand where Phil is coming from.

I wouldn't do it myself, but if it brings him some enjoyment, no harm.

I think for a lot of players (as opposed to Advantage Players) it's about being in the moment. We *should* save our money for a trip to Vegas where we can play better pay tables - but often times, traveling for some isn't practical and isn't fun. If you're not a high roller, one could argue the hundreds spent on air-fare could be added to the bank roll (or subtracted from the losses).

I agree that travelling longer distances is a burden to some people myself included.

I am just saying, if one person has a need to play long sessions at a time, places like Vegas and Reno are ideal.

I do not need to play longer than 3 hours in a session nor do I need to play every week. Maybe once every 3 weeks on average. I will play higher denomination for quality games and gives me time to save up in between.

Above all, I know exactly what I am doing.

And I want to correct Phil on one point.

The casinos don't want you to lose! Not the way you think. They want you to win, but to keep playing and give it back. Yeah, it's still losing, but I've never gotten a hand payout and not have them genuinely smile at me.

They even ask if you want, cash, check or direct deposit!

I do not think direct deposit is an option offered in most casinos, otherwise everyone will do it to avoid carrying money around. It is a psychological trap as described, at least for table game dealers they can root for you to win as hard as they want to make you feel that they are really your friend.

Olds, Billy is obviously a shill.  He's only concerned about shooting anyone down who doesn't advocate funneling your bank account into the casino coffers.   If he knew anything about real VP he would come up with something useful instead of having tantrums and taking this forum into the gutter with him.  [quote=alpax]I do not think direct deposit is an option offered in most casinos,

I got into a fight with the cashier at the Beau once when I asked for one for $12K.  It's hard to believe when you read my current posts, but I've had more than a few W2-G jackpots.  I learned my lesson the hard way. There is a reason they give you cash.  They want you to play it.

Come to think of it, that might be true.

rascal mentioned that they pay you W2G jackpot right at the slot so that you will likely keep playing.

Carrying a lot of cash is not a comfortable thing, not just from robbery, but also by random police civil forfeiture on the highway believing you will use that money to buy illegal drugs.

As for Billy, if he can come up with a way to win in Florida casinos, and if he can come up with a plan of attack, then I will view him with a higher regard. I have something in mind but I want to see if Billy can do the same.

I would suggest going with a national bank chain with ATMs in the areas you play at so that you can immediately deposit your winnings into your savings or checking account. Otherwise the police will use it to finance their next house remodeling or whatnot. , but also by random police civil forfeiture on the highway believing you will use that money to buy illegal drugs.

More lies from our resident fountain of disinformation.
Now excuse me while I search the internet for vp wins to post. It's hard as Phil has already posted so many of them.

I think Phil is referring to your winning hits.
