If you are in fact unemployed and struggling I would wish you luck in pulling yourself out of whatever rut you're in. I would also wonder how you wasted the opportunities available to you given your educational background.

OK since you obviously aren't comfortable answering my previous questions because they might reveal aspects of your nature even you can't accept, perhaps you could tell me, and anyone else who you think cares or is reading this latest manifestation of your angst, how it automatically translates that if......IF I was somehow unemployed and IF I couldn't even sell pencils online that such a predicament Must automatically mean I "wasted" some sort of golden opportunity???

So you cannot possibly see or accept or fathom how even a person whom you dislike intensely but don't hate, who hypothetically became out of work and who fails even to build a basic online business might simply be the victim of a catastrophic illness.....Might have been royally screwed over by a business partner years back and has been dealing with the fallout ever since....might have suffered through natural disasters like hurricane Katrina where he lost everything....Maybe he made one single solitary mistake in his life like got arrested for DUI and wound up paying for it for the rest of his life.
Is your inability to fathom such possibilities tied to the fact of what I alluded previously, that you subconsciously Hope that I am somehow experiencing this type of scenario, and that since it is ME, you simply won't imagine anything other than the most negative and least charitable scenario?
Maybe we should cease this unhealthy speculation on your part about my life that was started by some west Virginia criminal for whom you have more regard and sympathy than for me?
Maybe we need to find a neutral trustworthy third party to whom we can send bank statement s, tax returns, employment and educational documents and histories, and have that person decide which one of us is more deserving of praise, or sympathy or.....In the case of you towards me only, scorn and ridicule.

Before you possibly go any farther and end up painting yourself in a corner, let me illuminate you with the following didactic statement.....
I wanted you to think about your statement even though it was in jest, because even in the heat of frustration and anger where you just cannot stand me and what I write and how I write, where you wish up and down for some calamity to befall me so you can feel some smug self satisfaction, know this, that such "satisfaction" is inevitably short lived and woefully fleeting and inadequate and never worth the guilt you'll feel if you knowingly come to see even a portion of the calamity or woe you imagined or projected on someone come to fruition

Why would you deserve more or less sympathy from me that I would give to a West Virginia criminal?

I said regard ( which is to say "basic respect") not sympathy, two entirely different concepts and words. The last thing I ever want from you is sympathy, and the last thing I will probably ever get from you is respect (or regards).

I would also wonder how you wasted the opportunities available to you given your educational background.
Like you Ted, we don't know if the bank robber was an Ivy League grad, but I read in the Washington post they are in the 75th income percentile 10 years after starting school. It also stated that by the time they were 32 were earning upwards of $250k.
It's hard to imagine how anyone so smart, with an Ivy League degree, earning that type of money, over say 20-30 years, wouldn't be set for life. But, I guess anyting can happen.
