SM The Casino was a good place for that Royal.

The best.

A kind of interesting story too. Well, OK, not that interesting.

I was playing along and was dealt 6789 of hearts. I said to myself "TEN" and low and behold it appeared. Of course, I had to whine a little to my wife wondering why I wasn't dealt AKQJ instead. About 5 minutes later I am dealt AKQJ in spades, I once again say "TEN" (pretty sharp, huh) and the ten appears. So, proven once again ... whining works!

See, this proves my friends theory, that since everything was once living, we CAN communicate with a Machine.

I believe I have found the descrepancy between my program and these results. As you can see by the strategy above there are times where you keep a pair with a kicker. This is never the case in regular DDB and, as a result my copying of the DDB code, I also copied this ommission (I try to optimize out all non valid situations). So, I've added this back into the code and will provide updated results for all the games.

In your new strategy table SM, I see a 5-10/QQ pair.  But, where in that strategy would you find the action for a pair of 4's along with a pair of 2's.I would think that would be higher on the food chain that 5-10/QQ pairBut then, it would fall in the flow as 2-pair I guess and you definitely wouldn't toss either pair in favor of a single pair or a pair with a kicker.Strategy charts can be confusing to interpret when you are on the fly <LOL>

MikeA, looks like that one is missing along with a pair of 2s with two aces. I know I always keep these and have ran them through my hand analysis tool. Somehow they just didn't make it into the chart. I can't use the two pair excuse for the aces and deuces as the normal strategy would only pick the aces. Strategy charts are almost always missing a few items to begin with which is why I always warn people that it may not be complete. If we keep at it we should get there real soon.

After fixing the other QQ programs for which I had listed paybacks, I now get the following numbers:

DDB - 99.65%
DB - 99.55%
BP - 99.55%
JB - 99.52%

I wouldn't worry so much about all the details in the strategy charts SM.  There is always compromise between completeness and usability.  It was pretty intuitive with the double pair and that did come out ahead of either single pair or breaking it for one part of a duo.  I mean, logically, no one would break a two-pair hand consisting of aces and deuces.  Too many ways to hit by holding both pair.  I mean, you could hit a Boat with either Aces or Deuces over and if it was a duck, you would have a quick quad.  No brainer. Now, if we can get a machine with these paytables in a SINGLE LINE configuration in the casinos, I will play the hell out of it even though it is less than full-pay (without comps figured in).  It's just a FUN GAME!Heck, I'd even like to see a Single Line version here just to get the feel of it.
