VP Play "Attitude Reinforcement" For Everyone
It was raining when I got home from the ranch.
I started messing around in You-Tube and found this few

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDWpMqBZxf0
Video Poker Jackpot $75. Max High Limit $30,000.00...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXsjGqv9sW8
Live $20,000 Royal Flush Video Poker At MOHEGAN SUN CASINO...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUt8JOCNJ6I
$10000 Ultimate X Video Poker Jackpot...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGYyiUksGjU
Deuces Wild Video Poker... (This one is for Florida Phil)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EL8BQC-ua4I
If you want to watch some more here's Dusty Hills greatest hits...
Looks like there's 84 short videos of Dusty's Hand Payed Jackpots.
I'll say one thing, Dusty is way out of my league on most of the money denomination he plays per-line on the machines he plays and he seems to like DTB Poker. This version of VP really puts a dent in your wallet. I wonder how big his bankroll is on any given trip...

Hi Azure D...
I play dollar single line.
One of this days when I'm up high enough I will venture to a five dollar single line but it will have to be a bonus poker machine, I feel very safe when I play this version of VP it's very easy on my wallet...
But there is no way I can play 125 dollars a hand on any version of video poker because if I don't die from a heart attack the wife will kill me so I'm a dead man either way...

Yeah I've never tried a $25 denom potshot lol. I've played a few $5 denom potshots when I'm WAY up but the best I've done is four of a kind on Deuces. Usually I just play quarters and switch to dollars for a few hands if I hit something nice, then go back. On multi-hand machines I'm pretty much just a nickel guy with the occasional potshot on quarters.

[/quote]Here's a way you can sneak up to $5 play without breaking the bank. I don't play this way any more because the embarrassment of being handed a $1,250 single coin W2G $5 royal is too hard to handle. Also, this is not the best way to play because you are giving up over 1% of the return. Never ever do this for more than a few bucks at a time and be prepared to take whatever the machine gives you. It's a total luck shot, but it has produced some nice hits for me over the years.Play a $20 bill on single coin deuces wild at the $5 denomination. If you get a run up over $125, switch to max coins and play until you either hit something good or the counter goes back to $100 and cash out. The most common nice hand you will hit is a $1,000 quad deuce. I've hit a number of these. Here's one where I hit one for $1,000 switched to max coins and on the next hand hit a wild royal for $625 more. All this from a $20 investment. That's a nice return no matter what math you are using. Before all the strategy monitors out there get their panties in a bunch, I'm telling you not to do this. If you do and go home with an extra $1,000 from a $20 bill, we'll keep it a secret among ourselves.

Well Phil...
I'm sure you know the old saying:
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...
Well in this particular situation it would be,
A bird in hand is worth more than 47 to 1 odds of drawing the other 2 in the bush ...
Well Mister... At 25 dollars a hand, I would have kept the royal also...

If you discard the two royal cards and go for the deuces, the odds against being successful are 22.5 to one, not 47 to one. But, keeping the wild royal is much, much, more the superior play.

Hey Onemoretry...
Well my math was off...LOL...
But, A bird in hand is worth more than 22.5 to one odds of drawing the other 2 in the bush ...
At 25 dollars a hand, I would have kept the royal also...
I just did the math...
52 cards minus 5 equals 47 cards...
So going for the other deuce would be
23.50 to one odds since were drawing two cards right...
It really does not matter the royal for me would be the right choice...LOL...

Just take the Royal and run!
Some fun in the sun?
What dreams may come
From twenty crumbs.
